Rival Hydrovac Inc. has experienced rapid growth since our introduction to the mid size Hydro Excavators in 2016. Our T7 tandem model has become an industry leader in the mid size class due to its small footprint, productivity and high legal payloads.
Rival has had many requests to offer a larger model, but to maintain our focus on the criteria that made our tandem unit popular. It has taken some time, but we have released our T10 Rival in the fall of 2018.
The T10 offers larger capacities, a larger blower, a larger boom and optional larger water pump and boiler. The T10 has a transfer case driven blower. The remaining tasks are performed by the remote or rear panel. In line with the features of the T7, the T10 also pressures off loads and displays real time weights on the remote control. We have kept both models operation very much the same.
The T10 is offered on three different chassis configurations. In Western Canada the unit is mounted on a tridem chassis. The Ontario unit is a tandem with SPIF23. In the United States the Rival T10 is a tandem chassis with two pusher axles and one tag. We have done this to maximize payload in each area. All Rival chassis are equipped with Allison automatic transmissions.
The Rival T10 is available with an optional Vanair Package for Air Excavating and Air Tooling and an optional Utilicor Coring System.
